I know I'm a newb to smart phones and have a very limited knowledge of the cell phone industry but thats not nice Chuck.
Mr Sorrel mentions in this article that iPhone updates are controlled directly from Jobs but that Android updates are held up by carriers who would rather you buy a new phone to get a new OS. Fine, aside from N1 users, I suppose thats somewhat true. Yet, right after that, he goes on to say.....
"And while you’d probably be foolish to buy a Nexus One now that you can have the Droid or any number of better phones......"

Aren't we holding a phone that many of us purchased 'because' we don't want to deal with the carrier BS and contracts that he kinda mentions?
