I've searched around but I couldn't find a problem similar to mine.

So I set up my yahoo mail account with the default droid incredible app and k9 as well afterwards, both of them have the same problem....they only retrieve 4-5 e-mails instead of the whole thing

as for k9, same thing, but it does it for all the folders...

ive tried the imap settings, regular settings, etc, can anybody help me?

If you don't have Yahoo! Plus then it only works through the 3G signal. If you are on Wifi you need Plus.

I've always had wifi turned off and only use 3g. I don't have Yahoo! Plus. It only retrieves the new ones now and a few old ones, but i want ALL of them on my phone....

This caused me trouble as well so I gave up and am access my Yahoo mail via their mobile webmail site. It's actually pretty fast to load. Not as nice as the Gmail email but works well enough. I've used Yahoo Plus in the past and that seemed to work pretty well.

i was hoping i didnt need to do this, maybe yahoo will make their own app soon

Go into the stock mail client. Touch Menu, More and Settings. Then touch Send and Receive and then Download Options. Change it from "By Days" to "By number of emails" and then select 200 messages or whatever you prefer. This is as close as you will get but it will only pull your inbox and not your folders.
