Root please help .. i rooted .. now i have no mobile network

i followed the instructions from www.Unlockr.com and went from 2.1 to 2.0.1, rooted, then installed 2.2 with a 1 ghz kernel. everything went seamlessly until the end. I rebooted my phone, and i have voice, but no 3G!? could someone please help me out here. I'm out of town for work and need this working asap!

weird .. i don't know why/how, but after making several voice calls while waiting for an answer on here .. it just popped in. SO no worries!

This sometimes happens. If you ever find yourself without 3G, try switching the phone to airplane mode. Once that's done, wait about 10 seconds and then turn off airplane mode. For some reason this gets your 3G back and working. I've had to do it two or three times and it has always worked.

maybe if it happens again also check settings > wireless & network settings > mobile networks > data enabled... for some reason my droid after I activated it earlier today, which is also rooted, was unchecked.

first thing i checked ... it was as it should have been.

You may have better luck asking here. If you're out of town it may have something to do with roaming. I've heard of this problem before, just can't find the thread.

Not sure what Warrior country is. I've lived in Bloomer for the past 6 years, but lived in Minneapolis and Philadelphia prior to that. If you're referring to a school mascot, I'm not familiar with it. I didn't go to school in Bloomer.
