Best Buy No Longer Taking Pre-orders

Each store probably is only getting 20-30 phones, so I'm not surprised by this. It doesn't mean you still can't get a phone in your hands on the 16th buy ordering from Verizon online. I'm sure they will have the most phones to offer anyway. At least I sure hope so.

Please don't tell me Motorola and Verizon have hyped this phone and it will take the path of the Droid Inc. If you are going to hype all these Android Smartphones, then the manufacturer should be able to get them in the hands of the consumer.

I'm banking on Motorola being able to do it!

so youre saying the droid x is in high demand?

hmmmm

i was going to state something regarding this, but i will hold that thought because it regards another unreleased phone in comparison.

the dominoes HAVE to fall, we will see what happens in the coming weeks

I'm saying that the Droid X will be in high supply vs. the "incredible" shortage of the Inc

in the best buy employee's thread, he states that he believes they pulled them because of massive demand. He then says that he did not witness that for the evo.

I think they stopped preorders so that they would not run into the back log they had with the icnredible. That way they could almost guarantee those who preordered theirs would get theirs and everyone else would have to wait or go to verizon to get it.
