Help upgraded touch keyboard ?

I havent seen any updates for the stock keyboard. Being that it is stored in the /system folder and is protected i dont think we ever will with anything less than a flash update, and well were not getting any more of those. I use smart keyboard from the market which has tons of expansion options. Personally i thinks its far superior to the stock KB. On top of that you will receive update notifications from the market when updates arise. Give it try ;)

file sent

BTW.. put the file on your SD card and then browse to it and install it from there. No root required. Then, go to your phone settings/Language & keyboard. you will see "Multitouch Keyboard" listed. Check the box. Seems you then had to open an app that uses the keyboard and click more and then select it as the default.

Im not being an asshole im just curious as to how its supposed to work. The touch screen on the moment doesnt work that way. Thats like saying i added a gear shifter to my bmx bike but it only has one sprocket. It might look cool but its not going to function properly. If you read the comments to the page you cited that supposedly shows how this works you'll see the many comments of how it doesnt work, except of course for the phones who's hardware supports multi touch.
