I give up on DoubleTwist on the EVO

They need to go back into Beta for 6 more months. All the duplicate files, empty folders, and the ability not to realize I've played a podCast is enough for me.

I'm going with MediaGo (DeskTop app) for all my media enjoyment. The SenseMe thing is cool for creating dynamic playList. I'll be using Meridan on the EVO to play my media.

Now that I've downloaded Tunebite, I can even rip my Zune/iTunes DRM stuff to play on my EVO.

I just had to share/vent.

I'm almost done with it too! All I want to be able to do is put my playlists on my EVO. I don't need ALL of my music, just a few specific playlists. DoubleTwist does this, but the sync takes forever and is glitchy at best. I've tried media monkey and even went back to winamp. Both of those just put the music on my EVO and did not organize it in the playlists that I wanted.

Any suggestions? From what I have found on the forums, I'm stuck with doubletwist.

Is MediaGo that Sony app? I thought that it was specifically for Sony devices. Does it really work for the Evo as well?

Yes it is and MediaGo works with just about anything you throw at it.
You can create dynamic playlist "it's so cool". You pick a song and tell it how long (minutes/hours) you want the play list to be and it will find song like your seed song.

So cool.

The only thing doubleTwist has going for it is it's iTunes like. That's it, it really is a crap app ATM. They need more development time and I'd venture that the majority of Android users are not former iTues users "me being one of them", so we're not married to trying different thing.

That's why I think MediaGo is great, it's free and works with just about everything.
