I love sprint's 30 day trial and I feel like they were shrewd in making the release date June 4. A lot of people are going to wait until the last minute if they're returning their Evo. Their deadline is July 4, a day when people are busy going to barbecues and using their phones to help find family and friends during crowded firework shows. Coincidence? I think not!

Well, seeing as I'm giving my mom my old Hero (her old little samsung big shitty slider phone hardly makes phone calls now), I'm stuck with this Evo now. I kind of wish I could take it back at this point though, because of the horrid graphics problems. It just looks CHEAP and broken in the graphics dept. and actually makes me wish I was still using my Hero... oh well. Live and learn. From this experience thus far, I've learned that HTC has a horrible customer care service, they don't care about what they put out as long as it takes your money, and they don't listen to anything you say (or anybody else who bought the phone, or even the carrier that supports the phone, they're ignoring Sprint's complaints on the graphics problems as well). Overall, I'd say HTC is one of the worst phone companies (aside from Samsung) I've yet to see to date. >.>

Im actually going to return my Evo tomorrow because i fell victim to the bricked evo OTA and have been awaiting radioshack to get more units in..they havnt yet so imma give sprint a call and see if THEY can replace the phone since the OTA bricked evo issue was on their/HTC's end....if they cant then its return to Radioshack, then await 2 weeks for the contract to revoke to what it was prior to signing a 2 yr for the evo and then ordering from BB so i can get their warranty along with it..id rather get a New evo each time mines dies rather than get a Refurb unit

I just gave mine back to Radio Shack as well. Tired of being on the list, I used the phone for 5 days and the touch screen died. Been on the list since. An I didnt want to get stuck holding a lemmon or settle for a refurb. Funny thing is I walked accross the street to Best Buy, and they had a few in stock??? go figure. Now if Sprint can get my upgrade availability straightened out, I may have a new Evo tomorrow. Best buy is holding till 12:00. /crossesfingers
