What Sprint phone should I get for my birthday

I'm 15 and my birthday is coming up in a week. My dad says I can get any phone I want on sprint. I used to have a palm pre but it broke because of its crappy build quality. My dad has an Evo and says I could get one too if I wanted. He also says I could wait for any other phone if I wanted. I'm pretty geeky so I'm not your average consumer (I go on engadget and tech blogs regularly; I've also rooted phones before). My question to you guys is should I get the Evo or wait for another smartphone such as the epic or something?

Whichever you want lol.

But in all honestly, I think the Epic is a better phone.
-4" Super AMOLED screen
-More internal memory and a higher capacity included MicroSD card
-Superior processor in Hummingbird (in both everyday tasks and graphics. For graphics, it is not even close- GLBenchmark 1.1 Result Database ).
-Probably a better camera (as Samsung also manufacturers cameras).

The Evo has the 4.3" and kickstand but aside from that, I don't really see any advantages.

The Evo is a great phone, no doubt, but in terms of raw hardware, I think the Epic is better.

I agree with this. I'd go EPIC myself, unless you really want the bigger screen and don't like slide out qwerty.
