Accessories just purchased Droid X accessories!!

i just called Verizon customer care and asked him if he had any of the accessories available for purchase and he said he had to check. he checked and low and behold he found him and was able to let me order them. The rep had to ask his supervisor first if it was ok to go ahead with the order and being that the supervisor was not available the rep called me back 2 hrs later to let me know that it was ok to proceed with the order. I purchased the shell/holster combo, HDMI station/charging dock and Car mount all for $95 after my 25% discount and tax. He said that he wasn't sure if FedEx was shipping on Monday and that I would receive them by Thursday. I will follow up then to prove my purchase.

Corporate discount through his employer I assume. I get the same thing thanks to the Fortune 100 I work for.

DUDE, YOU ROCK! I did not even think to try that. I got the HDMI station/charging dock and Car mount and Body Glove snap on belt clip combo all for $98 and some change. (I also get a 25% discount)

For the original Droid I was 5th person in line and the charging dock (desk top) was gone. I'm sure Moto learned their lesson though. I would rather not worry about it and have them 10 days in advance.

Did you ask about the extended battery. I was so excited I forgot to ask.
Did the hdmi cable come with the dock? I heard it did but nothing concrete.

For the OP, is the Shell/Holster combo two separate items? A separate shell for the phone and a separate holster that holds the phone with the shell on? Because I don't see a quick-release like is on the Swivel Holster which is the kind of holster I've been using on my past few phones.

I'm glad my post could be helpful to some. The HDMI dock does not come with HDMI cable as the cable is $19.99 itself. However the Car mount does come witha 3.5mm cable to hook to AUX input of your car.
For whomever, the Shell/holster combo does come together and is prolly one of the best cases i've used. Have it for my HTC Droid Incredible and it so sweet.

I just ordered a few more things for my X and I ended up getting a corporate discount, I wonder if it's because I got the phone from someone at Motorola and the ESN is somehow tied to him being employed there? When she totaled it up she said that with my corporate discount it came to blah, blah. The HDMI cable and hi gloss black hard silicone case should be here tomorrow. I really liked the hard silicone case on my DInc.

If I'm understanding you correctly, the case (shell) and holster are NOT separate? Meaning the screen is facing out when you put shell/holster on your belt?

it is together and the screen faces inward. The phone slides into the shell as it covers the back of the phone and when put into holster it slides with the screen inward against a real soft felt type fabric.

What number did you call? I called this number twice and both people said the accessories aren't for sale yet.

I called the 800 number you posted. It all depends on the rep that you get. Some rep's will just assume that cuz the device isn't out yet that they can't be sold so they just tell you no. If they deny you call back in to speak with another rep.
