Pandora Stream Interruptions by Other Apps...

In the forum dog house.
I've got a lot of stuff going on in the background at any given time with my phone. -Apparently too much.
While trying to listen to Pandora through my Blue Tooth speaker set, the music gets interrupted by very quick pauses. Of course, this usually happens at it's worst when I'm trying to show someone how well my Droid works, just like everything else on my phone.
I use Advanced Task Killer, but things do pop back up. It doesn't help. Then I see stupid things like Tesla LED app refuses to be shut down in the background. (WTH?.)
Do I need to partition my SD card with a "clean" ROM just to be able to use Pandora and other streaming media without interruption? Or am I missing something setting wise?
Satellite was on, WiFi was on (right near a router), etc.

Thanks

Adjust your notifications settings. Try a profiles app. Create a profile that doesn't have any notifications.

Another instance where a task killer isn't the right tool for the job. Even where one is somewhat suitable, it's a band aid for the actual issue(s) at hand. TeslaLED isn't generating notifications. ;)

It sounds like you need to read the App Killers threads. It's a dead horse that has been beaten enough all across the internet so I'm not going to do so in this thread.

I know about the Dead Horse; I read the thread here a while back and lost interest quickly. One of those great epic BS debates where everybody's an expert and nobody but them knows what their talking about.
All I did was use ATK to try to kill apps that were running in the background. -It didn't seem so stupid at the time, but it didn't work, either.
I only mentioned TeslaLED as a side note of curiosity because even ATK can't make that NOT run in the background, which I find very odd. (-Nobody finds that odd?)

How are you showing off while on a bluetooth? :D
I would look into settings profile to tone down your apps during pandora. You can set it to launch a specific profile when Pandora is launched.
I was just trying to show my father Pandora at a BBQ. He's into music and I was explaining how it worked (the genre creation part) and I couldn't listen to even one Clapton song without the thing sounding like crap. But this has happened when I've had the Droid plugged into my stereo system at home, also.

I will look for Settings Profile and see if that cures my problem. Then maybe I can get rid of ATK. ;)
