Just started happening today. Every call I try to make gives me Call has been lost. I have 2-3 bars, didn't have a problem yesterday. I think I can still receive calls, as I just got one right before I needed to dial out. Tried calling several #'s in my contacts list. Anyone have a fix or suggest? I've powered down my phone once already.

I believe to do a soft reset you need to power down and take battery out, wait a few seconds then boot back up, after that i would start looking into any apps you have installed recently, worst case do hard reset. Or take to big V technical support

Only recent apps were LauncherPro and Fancy Widget. I'll do the soft reset first, and if that doesn't work, I'll uninstall one app at a time. I'll post after result

Edit: Uninstalled FW and LP. Still not getting out. Going to have to borrow a phone to call Verizon =\ Does a hard reset set the phone back to day 1 without apps and stuff?

Yes it does. you already do soft? Hard reset will take you back to how it was when you first took it out of the box

Well, read in another forum that EVRC-B can affect this. So, I changed from B to plain EVRC and now I'm able to make and receive calls. So... if anyone else has this issue, might want to look into this setting if you changed it.
Never thought of that... Glad you found a solution. there's a good app called network you might be interested in for monitoring that in the future.

I'll check that out. I've been on EVRC-B for about 2 weeks now, and today it wanted to give me problems. IDK, you have to "commit modifications" when you change those settings and it then restarts your phone, so maybe just refreshing my phone's programming was needed and had nothing to do with EVRC-B, but in any case, I'm leaving it to EVRC -- didn't notice any difference with B anyway.

thanks for the suggestions though.
