Suggested retail price?

Damn dude relax he was just asking a question you dont have to jump on his back nobody forced you to read it. Step back from the computer not everyone is able to find things when you search if they dont use the exact words let him be

I guess but it's pretty ridiculous when it's still on the first or second page. There's already been several clones of the question.

That doesn't annoy people around here? I've seen forums where they ban you for doing that once because it's a question asked every day or something, haha (not that I agree with that).

OP - From what I've seen, the price you mentioned appears to be about right.

To the other guy, please reread the Forum Rules (link in my signature) as it's pretty clear that this kind of behavior is frowned upon.

FORUM RULES said:
Also while the search feature on forums is great, and hopefully will be utilized - if someone comes here and asks a question, either answer it or don't. If you're going to suggest the search feature, be polite about it. Nothing irks me more than when I go to a forum, (and use the search!), then ask a question because I want some one on one with my problem, and get a simple "Use the search." reply. Suggesting it is encouraged, but don't withhold the answer because they don't.

I will also add that if you feel the need to go off on your fellow member, DON'T. Step back and take a breather, don't post or report the post. but by going off and being rude to members will only get you an infraction or worse. We are enforcing the Zero Tolerance Policy and will not hesitate to stamp out rude members.

The droid when it was launched was $579 not $599

I said "around" $600. It could be minus $50 from that. My guess is $600- especially due to initial demand perception and the constrained Inc issue. Not to mention Motorola have gone out of their way to push this as high-end.

Perhaps my perception of cost is different to others hear, since $50 would not be an obstacle if I wanted the device. If it does to others, why even be interested in the device in the first place?

No way it is over $600.

Arent phones that have keyboards usually more then all touch screen phones

Specs wise the incredible is a much better phone than the droid but isn't the full retail price of the incredible cheaper than the droid's retail price?

its probably along the same lines of the incredible...i'll say 539

yeah well you have to figure the X also has a bigger screen which costs more to make and overall is larger so probably has more parts which cost money i think it will be around $569-$599 who knows though until they release the info with the actual price all we can do is speculate

I agree with your prices, I don't see why it would be too much higher than what you said.
