Help network time is totally off

i have the xperia 10 for over a week now. i have t-mobile in seattle, washington. when i set the time to pickup the network value, the time is off by about 10-15 min.
i call tmobile and they told me their network time is correct. anyone having issue with the network time?
i have the same problem its not all the time but every so often its like 20 minutes off. both the top right clock and my widget clock. everytime i have posted about this problem (even though i even state i have NO app killer installed) i get some douche bag claiming that its my app killer causing the glitch

I noticed the same problem and do not have an app killer on my phone. I read this issue on 2-3 other forums/posts. What I did about 2 weeks ago was change it to NOT get the time from the network. I manually set the date and time. It has kept perfect time since, no adjustments needed.

Not sure what the original problem is/was but setting the time manually once has worked for me.

Cheers

thank you for both of your input on this. at least i am not the only one noticing this issue. of course t-mobile told me the issue is the x10 which i refuse to believe.

i set the time manually now just to get around that problem. i can't belive the phone is picking up the wrong network time.

anyone else has a work around beside setting the time manually?

** updated july 5, 4:15pm...
this is very strange. i just installed the 'uninstaller pro' and out of curiosity, i went back to time and select 'network value', the time now shows the correct time (NOT OFF BY 20 min anymore).
i can't explain why nor i doubted the 'unistaller pro' app is responsible for this.

I think its an X10 problem as this never happened to my G1 and as far as I know, no one else is reporting lag time from other phones on TMobile.

I used to have this problem, but since ota update to R1BA020 haven't had it since.

What build number have you guys got?

I am on R1BA020 but have not done the automatic update since I upgraded to this firmware. Maybe I will try it again and see if it keeps time.

Thanks

i just check the time, now it's 10 minutes off since my last updated entry on 3:30pm. i was under the impression it syncs with the network time constantly.

how do i find the build on the phone?

how do i find the build on the phone?

go to Settings > About Phone ... scroll to the bottom and look at Build Number.

Mine now says R2BA020. It was R2BA014. I went to the Sony Ericsson site, downloaded SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) and updated my phone to the new firmware.

Last night I switched back to the network time and the time is still accurate after about 12 hours.

I will monitor to see if it stays accurate.

Cheers

It is safe to update from the SE site. Just follow the instructions. I did not lose any data or apps. However, I am in Canada and my phone is branded to Rogers. Rogers has released the R2BA020 update which is the current firmware that is rolling out worldwide. You may wish to wait until it is available in your market. You can go to the website and check to see what is the current version available to you.

Hope it helps.

While I have a Rogers phone, I unlocked it and use it on Telus. I did not debrand it however so when I did my software update it found the Rogers update.

My time has been solid for 24 hours now that I have gone back to the network time.

Cheers

hey, is your network time still ok?

i upgraded firmware today to R2BA023, then set to network time for 3 hours now and so far it seems to be fine.

will check and post update in the morning.
