It looks like Best Buy is branding their own wireless data connections now, and if my (limited) research is correct, it will be via the Sprint 3G/4G network. Its got tiers and the (biggest) 5gb plan is 60$. Personally, I would just pay $30 and teather up to 8 devices from my EVO and get UNLIMITED data. Or, use PDANet and USB teather for free, again unlimited data. But, I think this could be big revenue for Sprint and perhapse lead to a strong 4G network in the future. Thoughts?

If demand is there then it could drum up requests for 4G

Yeah, BB will offer its own Mobile Broadband service within the upcoming weeks. Although it does operate off of the Sprint towers, one of the biggest advantages is that you have a choice of whether you want a contract or not.

Plans are available at 250MB, 500MB, and 5GB for the prepaid service. And 500MB or 5GB for the Contract services. Contract terms can be set to either the usual 24 months (2 Years) contract service, or 12 months (1 year) of service.

Also for those Reward Zone Card members, you earn points monthly whenever you pay for the service. And like the other cards, you can monitor and track your usage via the Best Buy Connection manager. All in all, its a versatile card to fit the needs of all sorts of people, depending on what you use the internet for.
