Actual Size of Droid X!

I measured and this is the first pic i've seen with the actual size. 2.6 x 5.0 x 0.4 inches to be exact. this phone is gonna rock!

Actually, it is highly dependent on your screen settings. For me, the image seems to be larger than the X. The X is supposed to be the same width as the Storm, but the image on my screen is wider than the Storm.

I'm on an iPad and my Droid 1 is the same size so this definitely isn't actual size.

yeah, it's totally depending on screen settings. If I viewed this on an iphone the X would be TINY!

I think it depends on your screen. I measured the pic off my laptop (14.1 inch screen 1280x800) with a ruler and it's about a half an inch shorter and about 3mm more narrow than the actual dimensions. The pic that comes closest to the actual size for me is the last one in the review.

It's a big phone for sure, but not as big as people make it out to be. I regularly fit my Nintendo DS in my pocket. That's also 5 inches if you stand it up on its side. It's also a half an inch wider and almost twice as thick.

mine too it is the right size. I measured my inc next to it and its not that much bigger

Thanks for posting this! I've been wanting to see an actual 1:1 sized pic of the DX. I measured off my screen and it's the right dimensions....and I'm shocked that it really isn't as huge as I feared. Larger than my iPhone, yes, but holy cow the screen portion is soooo much nicer! Yes, I'm a screen whore So this makes me very happy

nice assumption on your part, but no. it's pretty obvious once i saw the image this was the actual size. oh, and "let me get this straight".....you've already held an X in hand so you don't need to see the dimensions. right!

I just measured so i know the pics was said to be true of what was being said for me and the others on the forum.

I saved the file then opened it on my computer. Measurements there were just about right.

This phone is huge, it's bigger than the EVO, it's nice when you use it but I think it's going to be too big to carry around in your pocket.

Its thinner and more narrow but slightly taller..

I've held both phones and the Droid X is definitely smaller overall.
