I called up the T-Mobile store down the street this morning and they told me July 15 as well. That's all they'd say (and I was doubtful).

I haven't bought a new phone in 4 years and got excited about the i9000. AWESOME!

P.S. Is there any benefit to purchasing in T-Mobile store versus Radioshack? I keep reading about people pre-ordering at RS. Can they pick it up in store or will it be shipped out on the 15th?

Just called my local store, looks like it is the 15th there as well. Had them ask their manager, and they still said the 15th Cool so I can get my new phone 1 week early

The only advantage to me is that I can use my Equipment Installment Plan to purchase the phone and only have to pay 45 bucks come the 15th.

Other than that, idk maybe help changing things on your account if you have to?

Yes with T-Mobile you will get it on the 15th and at radio shack they are still keeping it them till the 21st.

Plus that Equipment installment plan is nice.

there's no release date for that yet...and the Vibrant is the Tmo version of the Galaxy S, the Verizon version is the "Fascinate"

These droids are flying at us so fast, its hard to keep up. In this respect, I envy the iPhone owners. One phone, one release date per year. That would be kinda nice, although I think the next wave of phones and 2.2 will crush the iPhone OS.

you're right, it could make a persons head spin. I do enjoy having the choice of brand, carrier though.
