AotS Gadget Pr0n Droid X

I see there is a post about this in the Droid forum but for us Droid X folks! They reviewed the Droid X on Gadget Pr0n today on Attack of the Show. They rarely give a 5 out of 5 but did for the DX.

Odds are they will replay it tomorrow if you missed it and will replay todays episode tomorrow morning. There were some details they weren't too aware of, they assumed the battery life would suck and weren't aware of the die shrink of the processor that lowers power usage. And they compared against the Incredible and iPhone for speed and called it a draw not knowing that in a few months it should be running 2.2 and will smoke the iPhone.

Kevin in the past has been a huge iPhone fan. I was shocked that he thought the phone was pretty sweet.

yeah just saw it. man that phone is huge and nice. They were running the Mario Live Wallpaper which is good to show off to casuals what Droid phones can do.

the site says its 4/5 but Kevin on the show gave it 5/5 ?? Still waiting for the video upload

I love attack of the show, and glad they like the phone. 5/5 baby, a lot better than 7 out of 10 that it got on endgadget.

Kevin said one of the downsides was paying for visual voicemail? Does anyone use visual voicemail on any android phone??? Google voice is free, better, and open to everyone now.

Actually the iPhone is all the rage with tweens. I know enough middle schoolers and high schoolers to know that if you have an iPhone, you're the coolest kid on the block. Blackberries are a bit more of a college and young professional kind of thing.

It's sad that the AOTS review was better than Engadget's. Kevin at least mentioned VZ and the quality of the network, Engadget conveniently left call quality out of the entire review. I mean, how important is call quality when reviewing a *PHONE*. Good job AOTS, and I'm happy to see Olivia moving on to The Daily Show, she's going to do great.

If you're trying to get an outburst, this really isn't the website/forum to do it.
I guess if you don't like tech news along with gaming news,
then I guess the show isn't for you.
They had a much better review than Engadget.
