thanks got it! i did a nandroid backup but titanium isnt working. is there another way to backup my apps and everything else so once I flash this I can get everything back?
and i just got setcpu and power manager full working well.. my phones been unplugged 15 hours now and i have 20% battery left.. will flashing this ruin anything? the custom kernal stays in tact? assuming i backup the apps and reinstall after the flash.. i will have just as good if not better battery life?
It works well for me...ish
google apps crashes a lot, and the camera doesn't work, but besides that it's not bad.
It's fun to have, but I felt I was getting too many force closes....reverting back to my nandroid backup of the stock OS until a more stable version comes out.
Horrible?!? I have to disagree. Its a test rom so there is a FEW bugs but nothing horrible. Yes the camera doesn't work and no sending mms but its a TEST ROM
Here is the "problems" I've noticed and I flashed it last night
1.no camera at all
2. No sending mms
3. Screen tear
4. Can't find SD card (thinks internal storage is SD card)
5. Led doesn't seem to work "properly" (still got to look into the settings on this one
6. Not all apps are in the market (like my paid ones (like tapatalk)
7. no tethering
Things that do work
1. Browser is not only FASTER but also I can go to sites that 2.1 didn't support
2. Linpack of almost 40 and a great quadrant score
3. Tons of free ram
4. Seemingly better battery (only flashed it last night)
5. 360
I would think having the internal memory seen as the SD card would be a LOT more preferable for apps2SD, that way we can hot-swap SD cards with movies, games, etc without having to worry about apps not loading or re-downloading their data.
For a test ROM this looks pretty darn good though! Give it a couple weeks and they'll have it running nicely, I'm sure!
