weather on my clock never displays proper

So you know the main clock on the Evo which is the one on a bunch of HTC phones, well the weather never displays properly, for example it will be like 9pm and it will still be displaying that its sunny out :(

even if i hit refresh sometimes the icon still does not change, anyone experience this?

thanks in advance.

I had this problem until I changes the refresh frequency, or you could manually refresh the weather while in the app by pressing menu and then refresh. Hope this helps...

well, sunset isnt till almost 8pm now. The end of evening civil twilight is typically about 30 mins after that. so for example, if your phone updated weather at 830pm it will most likely show sunny and remain sunny untill it gets the next update... 930pm.

I have noticed this as well thinking there was a problem. I had Been set to refresh every 3 hours until that night I saw sunshine on my screen well after darkness... :) now set to every hour and haven't really noticed a delay or discrepepency.

BW said I was having thunderstorms yesterday but was just cloudy and this was after a little rain went by.

not trying to be an ass, but the EVO is not an automated weather station... it feeds its weather from somewhere (think noaa or weather.com or something like that), so it can only tell you what its feed says. also, thunderstorms tend to be very isolated. so if youre under a cell surrounding areas may very well be cloudy (even sunny).
