Can EVO increase 3.5mm jack output ?

How can I increase EVO 3.5mm jack output beyond stock settings ?

Is there a practical method that won't give up sound Q ?

Pandora Radio doesn't have enough vol. in noisy settings.

PS: Just ordered one of these to test ear bud amp. "Fiio E3 Headphone Amp" but it's more of a hassle to get the results. I was hoping android app might offer fix.

Thanks

So far, no.

Since you ride (avatar) I assume you have the same problem. Ear canal buds that are noise canceling would prob. work o.k. but I'm not willing to block out ALL outside noise 100% of the time just so I can hear some things better. I can patch 3.5mm jack into stereo and it works fine if I don't turn the volume up too loud but the best solution would be more output from EVO. Jack Amp. will also work but add additional hassles of where to clip them and keeping up with more batt. charging.

Google Adb\fastboot for rookies for more info. on increasing phone volume. I was hoping for a little more basic/easy method for the EVO. (and without rooting.)

thanks

I do ride, but never a big fan of listening while I ride. When I first started riding 3 years ago, I bought a zune for that purpose but find I may ride and listen only 5% of the time.

I do use the Evo in the car, and my setup is "good enough" for me.

But yes, I too wish for a bit more volume. Why I have been paying attention to see if there was a software solution.

If I need to listen and ride, will probably just use my tiny sansa I own too. Just not too many tunes I need riding. I love my Evo, but she doesn't have to play that role for me. But if I listened and rode every day, I too would be a bit more frustrated, I think your current solution is still best, and may look into that as well for me.
