i did it when i got the evo...i called and said i was gonna close my account and go get the iphone 4 because att doesnt make you deal with rebates. i told them to look at my account and perfect payment history and they said ok. came back like 3 mins later and said we will credit the rebate immediately.

Ah,....nice. Well,...since I'm a new customer I don't see that working for me. Looks like I'll have to wait for the rebate to show up in the mail. I heard 6 weeks but I'll have to give Sprint a call tomorrow and look into it.

First off, doesn't it say 8-10 (or is it 8-12?) weeks before reciept?

So WHY, do people ask where their rebate is after FIVE WEEKS???

Personally, I have never had a problem getting mine within 5 weeks after sending it in on ANY phone purchased from Sprint.

So, people, give it a rest until it has been 10 weeks (mid August)!!

Because its absurd for them to take 8-10 weeks to send a rebate on a phone that can only be returned for four and a half weeks. Especially when it sits on "pending approval" for 2 weeks like mine has. Its obvious they are just holding the money just to hold it. People hate mail in rebates and don't even receive them half the time. This is precisely why most mail in rebates have gone by the wayside.

I am sure it has been posted that the reason to wait is because of the 30 day return policy. What if they sent out the rebates after 3 weeks and the recipient returned the phone after cashing the check? Besides, how many THOUSANDS of people sent in a rebates for ANY phone they have purchased?

Any rebate that is sent in for any item (not just phones0 usually says "please wait 8-10 weeks"......

You should have gotten an email with a link to track it a few days after you sent it in. If not that means they did not get it, or maybe you never put an email on the form.

considering its been 4 buisness days of them being able to actually process the rebates (July 4th last day to return) AND monday was a national holiday...

maybe you should just stop adhd'ing out?
