Root New ROM: reFREeze

Hi guys. its your good friend xgphacks123 here. You may know me as the guy that has made claims that there was a motoblur port going on. Well, that port didnt go too well, and i didnt have much time to skin launcher pro, but i am not giving up. I am in the process of making a rom which will be called REfreEZE. REfreEZE will feature:
1. FROYO!!! (based off of skyraider 1.7-with sense removed)
2. Launcher pro, along with a picture pack for the droid x.
3. Zeam launcher as a secondary launcher.
4. Some droid x apk's
5. themes by johnnybueno from xda. THIS GUY IS AWESOME. IF YOU LIKE THE RED THEME, PLEASE DONT TELL ME ABOUT IT. TELL HIM.
BUGS:EASE GIVE HIM the DONATION, NOT ME.
No known bugs at the moment, as i am adding finishing touches. I can say that GPS, Camera, Bluetooth are not working. Also, the build prop will be that of skyraider rom, as it is based off of that. I feel that that is no big deal, but a build.prop chage will come next update.

This Rom is still being worked on, and i WILL have all links up by late tonight. That is the best ETA i can give. DOnt flame because i dont have a link yet, but there will be one in a hour of so.

But aren't you the guy who on both this board and xda claimed that Sky Raider ROM was NOT froyo. You had quite a lot to say negatively about the ROM. Why would you base your theme off his ROM? and then remove the sense from it why don't you just use CM6 for your base ROM?

I am not trying to start an argument just trying to understand where you are coming from with this. I am happy to see more Roms and ROM builders, so even though I wont use a senseless ROM anymore, I do welcome your postings.

Testing now without johnnybueno's customizations. Ill report my findings

voice search (see skyraider on xda for fix)
build.prop isnt edited to my standards.will be fixed next update
no zeam launcher- .

While I personally agree with you, not everybody feels the same way. Plenty of folks are willing to sacrifice camera/Bluetooth/etc. for the other benefits of Froyo.

I have used cm6, sky raider, back to cm6, and now reFERee. I can sacrifice camera, ps and bludtooth. I hope i don't come across the wrong way when I say this, but I made this rom for people who like sky raider and droid x. I did not port dc launcher, but i ripped launcher icons (not app icons, so they are still stock sense-) and applied them to lUncher pro.

I never use bluetooth and hardly ever use GPS and the camera I use more for a barcode reader so those things dont mean much to me. Just because they are a deal breaker to you doesnt make it that way for everyone is all I am saying.

INSTRUCTIONS:
wipe data
wipe cache
flash normally
HOW TO GET DROID X GOODIES:
using your favorite flie manager on your phone, go into the folder in the ROM that says data-> app and install all apps you want from droid x.

ICON PACK: link will be up in 5 minutes. YOu will have to go into the market and update launcher pro to use icons. Open up zip folder and place all folders of zip folder on root of sd card. on LP, long press on app drawer contacts phone etc and select custom icons and select the droid x icon of your choice!!

Im not rr12123. I have really developed a rom that works. You can feel free to go ahead and test it for yourself. If not the door is over there ---------->
