I just got back from the local Wireless Zone and they said they were only getting 3 tomorrow and the guy said he thought they were all spoken for, whatever that means.

I just called my local Verizon store by my job and they mentioned that they are only have 20 in stock. I'm debating whether to risk waiting and going during my lunch break or camping out until it opens at 7 AM.

My local Verizon said they got 10 in, the kiosk in the mall got 5 and BB up the road got 7! I'm number 1 on the list at BB so when I talked to them today I set my appointment for 10:00 when they open!!! YAY!!

i called the corporate store in north austin today. they are opening at midnight tonight for the launch. i asked how many they had, she said she only knew it was a "limited inventory." i said i didn't want to come there and wait if they only had 10 phones and that i read online other people had said there stores had between 2 and 100 phones. she said they definitely wouldn't have 100; they only had 20 phone for the last launch.

i'm not going to get out and stand in line until midnight to have a chance at getting a phone, so i'll just order online. if they had 50 and could tell me that, then maybe i would go.

Mine said plenty a week ago but now they say there will only be " a select few" seems they sold them all to new customers and are holding them for them. @#$#^#@!!!!

You would think for a midnight opening they'd have plenty. Whats' the point of a big midnight opening if they can't even supply the phones? Makes no sense.

i called a verizon in a BJs wholesale club to see how many they are getting (i was thinking no one is gonna go there!!) he says we dont know. im like how do you not have them in yet every other store does...do they not like you? do they not count you as a store? i said "thats sad" he refused to say anything! lol. i was like well your store i will not be going to for the 3 droids im getting.

Just got back from my Verizon store (they are doing a midnight launch) and was talking to one of the girls there. She saw that I already had a Droid X. I asked how many they had in stock and she said 90 and they expect at least 70 people to show up!

She also said that there are still opening early as they expect another shipment Droid X's to come in for Friday.

Seems like stock at this store will not be a problem.
