Has anyone else noticed their Evo's performance going into the dumpster?? Even with a task killer (no auto-kill, just manually managing) my phone is getting pretty sluggish, even on simple tasks, with all tasks cleared out. I've also noticed killing all apps doesn't free up as much memory as it used to. With everything cleared out it was showing around 150mb free. Now I'm down to around 100 after ending all tasks, and that 50mb seems to be making a pretty big difference.
Is 512mb the correct spec for this phone, and the system and essential tasks are only leaving 150-200mb for me to play with? How much free memory are some of you Android vets seeing??
Where can I find a resource that'll let me know exactly which tasks/apps are safe to end so I can maximize the phone's memory wiggle room?
As a first time Android user, should I just get used to having to reboot the phone every week or so to keep it looking healthy?
