Help Reports of issues with Droid X?

I heard that there are issues with the new Droid X and a friend recommended I wait to get it. I think I did read something somewhere (maybe here) about a camera delay. Is there anything to this?

Nothing that I have heard to be honest.

camera delay(if there is one) can be fixed with an ota. Most of the time people are just not used to a 2 step camera button

I used one for a while this morning and I was like WTF, this camera is broken. Friend then said it's a 2 stage button, and sure enough, it was snappy snappy snappy!

Mine works great! The only problem is the teleporting app doesn't work yet but thats ok.

Actually (and this isn't an "issue") I liked how on the Droid when you sent a smiley it was the cute little android guy. The X isn't doing that, how do I enable it?

If you're concerned about rooting/custom ROMs, check out the sticky.

If you're concerned about general issues, check the troubleshooting section of the DX forum. There are a few issues surfacing, but I didn't see anything chronic like with the Incredible. That said, it's been under 24 hours since release lol.
