Hi guys,

Noob to root and I'm freaking out.
I flashed my phone to 2.0.1 b/c I thought I had to do that. Turns out I didn't, but there is outdated and updated information out there and I was misled. Anyway, 2.0.1 installed fine and it booted up, though my phone wasn't activated.

Anyway, then I realized I needed SPRecovery, so I installed the sbf for that using RSD Lite.
It installed successfully as far as i can tell? But it did a reboot, and now it's just stuck on the white-background Moto logo while plugged into my USB.

RSD Lite says "Please manually power up this phone."

What do I do?!?! I am afraid to unplug it or click close b/c it says it might damage the phone.

I need my phone working tonight! Please help asap :(

Thanks so much in advance!! :/

OK, I hit close and it stayed stuck, and now when I Boot it up it stays stuck. Am reflashing to 2.0.1 now, I hope this works... >_<

EDIT: It worked! 2.0.1 successful .. i flashed sprecovery AGAIN and AGAIN it got stuck, so screw it, i'm going with clockworkmod recovery :)

Clockwork is far superior and more supported anyway. Good choice. Did everything work out?

Yeah man, good luck, have fun, and make backups frequently :D

and about the cpu temp, download SetCPU if you havent already, its like 2 bucks in the market or something and allows you to set the clock speed however you like during certain situations i.e. screen off, temp, battery life, etc. It saves battery like crazy and wont make the cpu run at full clock speed if you dont need it to.
