Phone Naming and Bluetooth Recognition

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how I go about naming my phone and I have been trying
this morning (No work today) to find my Hero on my N95 via Blue tooth but the N95 can not locate the Hero, only 2 LGs that are next door.
Any idea why that should be please?

Did you make it visible to other devices?
Settings>>Wireless controls>>Bluetooth settings>>Click discoverable

Also you can't send anything yet; Bluetooth 2.0 is coming on Android 2.0

I don't think so. I THINK there might be apps that make it possible, but I haven't been able to find any. If you're pics are on a memory card you can copy them over via your PC maybe? It's certainly quicker than bluetooth.

Sending and Recieving files is corrently not supported by Android 1.5

Really shortsighted by HTC I think when they launched the phone to have
Blue Tooth but not fully like every other phone.
Roll on 2.0 then.

NO probs. As far as I know, the iphone didn't have bluetooth for a long time after it weas released either. I don't get why developers do that, I mean, it's BLUETOOTH! Oh well.

If this doesn't sound Stooopid Elpelco, I just went
there but the naming option is Greyed out, how
do I make it active then Mate?

You have to have bluetooth on to be able to rename it. Not sure why.
