Your favorite NBA team?

I don't watch the NBA anymore but if I had to pick I would probably choose the Spurs b/c Tim Duncan is a beast.

Back on topic, not without another superstar to support Amar'e. The Knicks will continue to suck ass.
Rumor has it.... CP3 and Melo might go to NY new year if there is no lockout... But who knows. Cant wait for another "The Decision"

On topic, the Bulls! The team that is quietly making the best all around team in the NBA right now. ;)

Any team playing against the lakers, i f***ing hate kobe's "I'm #24 because I'm one better than Michael Jordan ever was" stuck up bull****. That idiot, if it wasnt for players like Michael Jordan and the earlier superstars basketball wouldnt be what it was and you wouldnt be getting paid like you are.

Jordan is hands down the best NBA player of all time but he also was a douchebag.

I know everybody is going to hate me, but I'm a Lakers fan. I love Kobes determination, Bynum's potential, Odom's versatility and nonchalance. Pau is one of my favorite big Men, Shaq was one of my favorite players back in the day, Even though Jordan is probably better, Magic has always been my favorite player. So not a bandwagon fan but an actual Lakers fan stuck in the Midwest.

Denver is my 2nd favorite team since Melo made it there, but if him and CP3 go to the Knicks. I would like that team more than the Super-Friends in Miami.

agreed!!!!

It used to be the Milwaukee Bucks but now it's the Miami Heat.

Anything to support a team to keep Kobe from winning anymore championships ;)

I can't picture the Nuggets letting Melo go though.

how can you become a heat fan now? thats wack. also its not a question if denver lets him go, all they can do is offer the max, which the knicks can easily match next year. mello wants to go to new york, nothing denver can do about that. period. CP3 has already gone on record as saying he wants to go to NYC

Well

1: I've always liked Chris Bosh - was on my fantasy basketball team last year.

2: Love Dwayne Wade - went to several of his games when he lived in my hometown and went to Marquette

3. Would like to see LA get dominated.

4. My favorite team will always be the Bucks - I just like the Heat as a team for the 3 reasons stated.

I hope Melo stays on the Nuggets :(

I probably would become a Heat fan(well after the Lakers and Nuggets) since I've been a Bosh fan almost from the beginning and recently realized that liking Wade and Kobe aren't mutually exclusive. (Wade is just as good as Lebron, he's just not as gifted physically) it's just the fact that Lebron is there which makes it hard for me.

Lebron is a great player, but he's too arrogant for me to be able to get behind, and him leaving Cleveland to follow up with Bosh and Wade don't do anything to raise my estimation up at all.

He took 20 steps backwards to mem he is no longer a batman. he is now robin or wonderwomen

Lol, I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a damn. As long as he increased his odds to win some rings, why not team up with some of the best in the sport at their respective positions.

I'm all for competition but you can't knock his choice to leave Cleveland. He was there 7 years. They couldn't build a team around him in 7 years? Give me a break. The man took a pay cut too just to play in Miami.

He didn't have crap players, you don't make it to the Finals and then have the best record 2 years in a row with shitty players. He hasn't had the greatest players ever but they've been good enough to win a championship.

Almost nobody has great players before they win a championship, it's winning that changes the perception of them being good to great. Before they won championships, nobody was saying that Pau gasol, Lamar Odom, Rajon Rondo, Big Baby Davis, Tony Parker, Ginobli, Chauncey Billups and etc.... were championship players. All of them were considered good players but not somebody to build a team around. Now that they won rings everybody looks at them differently and says " oh that was a great team that they had"
Especially with Gasol, Memphis was offering him to everybody they could to get rid of him but as soon as he wins a ring he goes from being that soft European guy to being one of the best Big men in the League.

If Lebron could have got his team to the championship, we'd be talking about how good Mo williams and Jamison are and how deep the Cavaliers are, but since they didn't make it, everybody is saying that there was no team around Lebron which is just false

That was the final two, maybe three years though. You can't judge a 7-yr career on one team from such a small sample size. Overall, he had to do all the leg work on his own.

Only the delusional are taking that comment serious tho, so its ok if it does not happen.. but if Cavs do win before Lebron he will look like a hero. lol

Haha. He would be a genius! I would be put a lot of money against it though! A LOT.

If you look at most Championship teams, they have a lot more than what the Cavaliers had over the past 7 years.

Keep in mind - Antawn Jamison has only been with the Cavs for 1 quarter of a season - 25 regular season games. Mo Williams has only been with the Cavs 2 years.

Lakers, Spurs, and Celtics were all surrounded by better players.

LA - Kobe, Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Fisher, Artest, a young Shaquille O'Neal, etc.

Celtics - Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, Ray Allen, Rasheed, etc.

Spurs - Duncan, Ginobli, Parker, Hory, Bowen, etc.

The Cavaliers failed to ever bring in a high quality center. Shaquille O'Neal is always injured and way past his prime.

Cavs - LeBron, Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison (25 regular season games total).. There best center is Varejao - that's bad news. O'Neal is another story at his age and condition.

IMO, the Cavs did a horrendous job over the past 7 years building a team around LeBron James. Championships aren't won without solid centers.
