Rebooted, re-ran Quadrant and "only" got a 1280 :D (and a 8.406 (0.64) Linpack)...had a bunch of apps that I had downloaded and played with today, lol, so I just had to try for a higher score with a clean boot, lol! :p

alright so i hope i am not the only one but that does this "score" means, if it is making a difference with apps running or not then whats the point of it if you aren't measuring the speed while actually using your phone? (ie. apps running)

These performance metrics are basically just a way to measure the speed of the hardware (and software) as compared to other phones (or devices). You see this at the end of the Quadrant run where it tells you how the X stacks-up against other phones running the same performance tests.

The slight differences you are seeing are really inconsequential. Comparing stock phones to one another doesn't really tell you too much. If the X was being compared to an X running Froyo, then you will see much different numbers being reported (and also/especially if the X were overclocked -- which cannot be done at this time).

Its just a fun thing to do and post to while the time away. :D
