Help Social Networking Annoyance on the X?

I tried to do a quick search in the forum but couldn't find the answer

Does anyone have their facebook linked with their X?

I am trying to figure out all the ins and outs for the device but anyway if you do

have you noticed the contact id for certain people is not the right person?

For instance my ex-bf Chris contact id is another chris that i am friends with on facebook...

Another Matt's picture is the id of my other friend matt

I only see this with people in my contacts that have the same first name as a facebook friend people like Bridget are fine

when i got my first smartphone i added all my contacts first and last name, since i thought it would be more smart. if you add the last name to the contact then it will connect the correct facebook profile

Yes, the FB contacts have NOT meshed with my imported phone contacts well at all... I can see that I will need time to fix that manually...

Yeah, it has actually just left out some of my Facebook contacts. I check my account on my computer, and they're there. Then I check my list on my phone, not there. I really don't like the whole Blur thing, but I can look past it, I guess.

no problem here with contacts but for the love of computers, what is the best way to receive notifications from FB on my X? i have my email that i receive notifications to synced but is that the best it gets?

if you download the facebook for android app or bloo
it give you notifications

maybe i need to re download the FB app then cause it doesn't seem to be working like it should imo. i've heard about the bloo but when i was reading the reviews last night a lot of people were bashing it.

I never allow my phones to put my Facebook contacts into my phone because there are always problems. I had issues on my Incredible also. I like adding them manually.

You'll have to properly link them. Under 'Display Group' select all contacts then go look for the proper facebook ID and link it to the appropiate phone/google contact. Thankfully for me, I don't have as many friends as you do lol....doing it manually didn't take too long but it was still kind of a beezy.
