I started out just copying music files and folders to the Droid-X. This would have worked OK had I been willing to copy my entire music library to the phone. Unfortunately, I have more music than will fit on even a 32gb card. So I wanted some sort of intelligent syncing.
After researching DoubleTwist, iSyncr and other options, I bought TuneSync and I like the way it is setup, but not pleased with the speed of syncing (either wired or wireless). It tells you status and gives a sort of progress bar, but only for the track it is currently syncing. It doesn't look at what it has to do, then estimate a time to complete the whole job. Leaving my phone plugged into to my pc overnight, it still failed to sync 12gb. Any model iPhone or iPod would sync that much in about an hour. I suspect that there is something horribly inefficient in TuneSync's setup.
I'd give TuneSync 3 stars out of 5. I hope it gets better, but it seems to be the best option for now.
