Help typing in landscape

i like typing in landscape but i dont use it because it covers the whole screen and you cant see anything else. Is there away to say show parts of ur text while in landscape?

Are you using the stock keyboard? When I type in landscape the keyboard only takes up about 2/3 of the screen. The top 3rd is my text.

Yea using stock and mine the same as urs but I want to be able to see texts from the other person while im typing and be able to enter my text with out having to close the keyboard and hit send. A prime example would be what the doodle drawing game where ur forced into landscape and can't see anyone else's answers because landscape takes the whole screen. I wanna be able to see a line or 2 of the other people text not just mine

The text box is unnecessaryly big. Basically want it how it is in regular mode with the same size keyboard in landscape and a smaller text box

I see what you mean. There was a texting app that imitates how iPhone texting looks and that has smaller text up top, so that may be helpful to you, but I don't know what it's called. Anyone?

Handcent SMS, but don't know if it will fix the problem as it doesn't change how the keyboard is used.

True but I think the text above the keyboard is smaller, thus allowing you to see more. I could be wrong though.

I'm frustrated with the same problem. I just installed Handcent SMS but I can figure out how to make the messages from the other person visible as I type. Have you had any luck with Handcent or any another solution to this problem?

I'm surprised more people aren't frustrated with this. I haven't found anyone else bring up this problem on the internet.

Ya. Im also pretty frustrated with this. There's gotta be a way to fix this. Its the same in all msg apps.
