Help Sending Text Messages on Reboot.

This is an odd problem I have. When I reboot my phone, it sends only a select few people previous text messages I've sent them. The only program I can see that could be causing it is SMS Pop Up, but I don't know if that is a culprit or has been known to do that. My girlfriend who was sitting next to me started getting text messages. She received about 13 instantly from me that she previously received from me.

Can anyone decipher this dilemma?

lol, i just woke up some i'm a bit groggy and actually thought i wrote this post. this EXACT scenario happened to me last night with my girlfriend right next to me when i rebooted. and you're correct, the answer has to be sms popup as i have that installed too. i'm gonna remove it i think for a bit until i see an update.

That is quite hilarious. Please repost as soon as you figure out if that is the culprit. I keep experiencing this. I've notified the messages act as if they were unsent, but the contacts I've messaged receive them and respond perfectly fine.

I am the developer of SMS Popup, this is a known issue with Droid X and SMS Popup, you can follow along here:
Issue 155 - smspopup - Reboots with Droid X with smspopup installed will resend last 3-5 text messages

I have two possible fixes but I need someone to test them for me as I don't have a Droid X:
