Welcome to the club! All mine fell off after about a month. The all black backing is cool though. Am I alone wishing they just screened HTC on there like they did "with Google"?

i just found out from a reliable source that the real htc logo that matters is the one that shows up when u start the phone. if that one falls off, we have a real issue.

Funny! However one needs to have the phone to even worry about that and I am still waiting...just wanted to see what this thread meant to ward off future problems.

after 3 days of having the phone my T fell off, but everyone thinks its just supposed to be like that because its the center one, so it doesn't look too bad after i scraped out the slight glue that was left in there.
Mine are still on. If they did fall off I'd probably buy a new battery cover off VZ. I want my DInc to act and look perfect for those iPhone user's when they question what this beast can do.
I've posted in a thread on it before. This guy found them for $12.99 with super slow ship on Ebay or $14.99 free overnight from Verizon. I would go with the Verizon deal
That is a very good question. I used mine naked for 2 months and now for the past 3 weeks with a holster combo case snapped on it. I haven't lost any yet but I would like to know what the people who have lost them were using.
I would have to think the letters falling off stem from flexing the back when prying the battery cover off. Horrible and cheap design for a $600 device IMO.
That would make sense. I think the phone feels great and solid when the battery cover is on tightly (mine doesn't have the creak some people have reported. Yet...I've only had it since Friday. But I agree that taking the battery cover off is awful and does make it seem cheap.
I feel like a jackass because I have had no problems with mine, and I just cut a big ass hole in my backplate. I guess I should have asked one of you if you wanted to swap. Oh well.
