What drivers need to be installed, and where do I get em?
This a MAC not a PC.
Hello,
I have a MacBook Air and decided to pay for the pro version because I made the mistake of purchasing a VZN wireless dongle and pay the fee. The fee was $30 and I used up all the allotted bandwidth in less than a week!
I have a DX and began to use PDANet with the original Droid.
Sometimes the PDANet files can get corrupted on either end from time to time. I would reinstall the application on both devices and then do the following:
-Double click on the PDANetMac icon in the Applications folder to make sure that the PDANetMac icon appears at the top of the finder window. It should have red circle with an 'x' to indicate it is not connected to the internet.
If you have access to wifi, make sure that you turn 'Airport off' for this test.
-On your phone, go to 'Settings-Application Settings-Development' and check 'USB debugging' and click 'OK' when the dialog screen comes up.
-Plug in the microUSB cable to your phone and computer in the usual way. If any program on your computer opens by accident, close the program.
-Set the USB connection on the phone from 'Charge' to 'Mass Storage'
-On your phone click on the PDANet icon/shortcut. Click on 'Enable USB tether'.
The circle on the PDANetMac icon in the Finder will change from the red circle to a small globe when you are successfully connected.
Open your browser of choice and have fun.
