Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Alright...my full stats one last time.

Ordered:6/16 in am via online
Processed:6/17 in am
ETA#1: 7/8 via "will ship by" online
ETA#2: 7/12 via email couple days after order
ETA#3: 7/15 via email 1 week after order
Notification: Recieved email with tracking number 7/9 in pm
Actual shipping: 7/10 left VZW warehouse bound for FedEx facility with overnight shipping
Delivery: 7/13 in pm because of Sunday it actually didnt get on the road until 7/12 in am. So technically I got overnight even though it took 4 days for me to get it after it left the VZW warehouse.


Notes:
After 3 days the external speaker blew. Currently awaiting my first replacement, hopefully the only one I will need. Everything else on the phone worked great!!


New stats:

Ordered replacement: 7/16
ETA: 7/20 (Currently at nearby sorting facility)
Delivered: TBD, but more than likely since its already here I will get it on Tuesday.

is your replacement new or like new. The quick turn around would lead me to think you are getting a refurbed phone.

First, while ordering I was told that since mine broke within a week of getting it I would be getting a new one. The second person I spoke with (to make sure it was orderd, had problems with first CSR) told me that they dont have any refurbs for my "region" and so I will be getting a new one.

Just called to confirm...they told me absolutely I will be getting a new phone not a refurb.

i would be very careful to check your phone settings. My first one barely worked out of the box and after a fulls day research found out there is no special place for re-orders, you go to the back of the line, so your quick turn around time makes me think your phone is going to be a used phone, maybe not re-furbed, but definately not a fresh phone.

There is another part of this forum that helps you find out the place to check if the phone has ever been used.

Easiest way: if it comes with a battery and back its new. If it just comes with the phone (no battery or back) its a "like new".

Hi everyone.

I didn't post this weekend because I was working. I got home in the mornings and was so tired. I thought, " Should I post a little something on the forum before I crash, or should I just play with my Incredible." (Hmmmmm:rolleyes:).

So anyway, I am by no means tech savvy, and there was a little bit of a learning curve for me. My husband was nice enough to step in and help with transferring files, etc. I almost didn't get my phone back. I think I see and Incredible in his near future.

After finding my feet, so to speak, I have to say I love, I love, I love this phone! I know it's been said before, but it bears repeating.

It's definitely worth the wait;).

Hang tough, guys. You won't regret it.

ummm, there have been plenty of reports of people getting the whole phone and its not new.

Who knows I guess...thanks tho, I'll keep an eye out for it. The CSR I spoke with stated that my account said new replacement not certified like new. She also told me that if it turns out I got a "used" phone I will recieve monetary compensation as I am within their 30 day warranty and they are "required to furnish me with a new replacement". There is a note on my account for someone to call me when they get confirmation of delivery to make sure its a new and not a used. She stated that only new phone come with battery and back, otherwise you have to use the one you have. I have gotten replacements for other phones and not one of them came with a battery and back. Hopefully its the same with these phones.

I will definately double check tho. I didnt shell out hundreds of dollars for a used replacement phone 1 week after I got the origional.

the part of the story that doesnt make sense if how you re-order and get it within a week. No one has gotten that.

I know a few people who had to re-order 3 or 4 times and got them all before I got my first one. They were told replacements take presidence over new orders.

well, then i missed something, becuase i have been complaining since i re-ordered and were told i go to the back of the line.

regardless, i got the $25.00 credit and months service for free, so the phone is free now.

oh well.

That really bites being put at the back of the line. It isint right. I was told I would get the $25 pacifier because of how long it took to send my first one. Never got it though. At least you basically get a free phone.

It's something like Location_Order# (but I think you put 0's in front of the Order# to make it 9 digits) but there are two places you can put it on the Fedex website and Idk it's a mess. I don't know if it works until they've shipped your package or something.

& ps I feel like I should know you on a personal level because it's been just you and i in here for awhile haha

Got to FedEx site, select track by reference, input location code_order#. Yes the order should be 9 digits so you have to add 4 zeros. So it should look like this: (only an example) P835016_000039465. Enter the other info except account number and hit track.

If your order is in the system it will show up if not then it will say that there is no information avaliable for your tracking number.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Mine doesn't show up D: On my reciept it says: Order Location: D2272 01 #xxxxxx. So i've been putting in D227201_000xxxxxx. Is that right?
