Well it doesn't work on vibrant anymore cause tmo agrees with the point I'm trying to make...deal with it you think it costs to much DONT BUY IT!!!!!!!!

Tmo needs a prepaid data plan. Preferably a non monthly one that has the data roll over so basically it could be like say you buy 5Gb's of usage with moderation it could last a few months the average person shouldn't use more than 2gb's a month if they have areas of wifi. It would control data usage over the network seeing as they have a problem with it to where after 5Gb's of usage they slow down your speeds or whatever. It would seem like a good idea right?

T-Mobile currently does that. $1.99 a kb do you realize how many kb's 1 app has?? 100s and some even go into mb's!

what does age even have to do with saving money? The average user doesn't even use 1gb of downloads.

Saving money is good for everyone.

My smallest sized downloaded app is 20kb's that would be $40 on tmobile. Hero clock widget is 80kb's of which = $160 on the $1.99 a kb plan

Well obviously I was not meaning at the rate.

Maybe 100kb for a penny. That is $1 for 10MB.

Still a lot more than the $25 I pay for unlimited.

Well thats certainly more doable but thats still as you said more than what is unlimited.

What I am thinking though what they should do is like doing what is done with prepaid minutes. You pay for a certain amount of space lets say 500mb's for $10, 1gb for $20 and so on and have it be valid for around 90days or 1 year and then simply refill once its used up but would tmo be smart enough to do it? I hope so.

Does for me, but I have an older plan I haven't changed. So I don't know how they approach someone getting a new plan or changing to the $10 one.

I've been following Vibrant threads in every major Android forums specifically about Tzone hack/$10 web2go and I could assure you that Tmobile has close the loophole by IMEI number. I dont know how the guy above did it but I've tried it and NO LUCK!! I have the Grandfathered Tzone $5.99 plan.

Vibrant + $5.99 Tzone = Fail "Subscription Upgrade Required"

so $10 web2go works but not $6 tzones? or is it neither? I was thinking of going from my Behold 2 to the Vibrant. because the guy who says it works said he's on web2go and the guy who said it doesn't work looks like he's on $6 tzones?
