No sound with Hdmi out when in Onkyo Fine directly to TV.

Just got my Cable today and when plugged directly into an hdmi on the TV set (Samsung LNB52750) I get sound and video. I tested with youtube and a video recorded directly to the phone.

When I plug the Cable into my Onkyo HT-RC160 receiver I get video only.
I've tried various settings on the Onkyo and different Hdmi inputs and its always the same, video plays but no sound.

Is this a known issue with the receiver or does someone know of a setting that I may be over looking.

If I can get the sound issue taken care of I may very well drop my Direct TV subscription.

Other than that so far loving the EVO.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I am not sure on the sound issue but I have to ask..... Why would you drop your Direct TV? You can only watch YouTube, Videos that you load to the SD card, and Video that you record. Now as far as the sound issue.. it may have something to do with the upconversion that your receiver does. Try changing the HDMI output on the phone from Automatic to 720p and see what happens

So far I've been able to watch videos directly streamed from youtube with no other issues other than the sound, which like I said is fine directly to the TV. The only cable/regular programming I watch can usually be viewed from there. Anything else I can use other sites via other methods.

I mainly use Netflix and by no means watch 85 bucks a month worth of DTV.

Thanks though
