New to Android phones--and I have a few questions

OK first, my phone info

I have a Cincinnati Bell Blaze (which is actually a Commtiva Z71).

1.) Model Number : Blaze
2.) Firmware Version : 1.6
3.) Baseband Version : PR1_850
4.) Kernel Version ; Apps_2.6.29
5.) Build Number : 1002_1_248

I Have an unlimited monthly data plan with Cincinnati Bell Wireless, which is of course, in the US.

I think (which I know you guys will correct me if I am wrong) but the Android OS is the same no matter which device. This is my very first droid device so I am still trying to get the hang of it.

But anyways, here are my questions:

1) How do I prevent apps/widgets I am not using or wanting to use from activating automatically while I am using other apps or widgets or while the phone is in standby mode? I use TasKiller to stop them, but they just mysteriously come back on.

B) I downloaded some apps that don't show up in the app list, only in manage applications screen. How do I make them show up?

III) Can you use a Stylus on these types of touchscreen devices??

Thank you in advance, any and all help is appreciated!

1) There isn't much you can do, and if you continue killing them over and over again, it can cause lag and battery drain.

B) Never heard of this, are they actual apps or just widgets?

III) Not if it is a capacitive screen which I'm assuming it is.

Wait, for letter B, are you asking: You downloaded a widget only app, not knowing the difference between a widget app and a normal app+widget?

Widget app can only be added to the homescreen by a long tap on the screen and selecting widgets. They will not show up in the "all apps scrolling window/page".
