pre release droids get left out of update

So I'm pretty pissed that I still haven't gotten the update and if I haven't gotten this one I'm pretty sure I wont ever get any.

Going to swing by verizon today and complain. I'm on .514. I can't believe the morons forgot to include all the people on .514.

EDIT: Yes I've tried manually checking for updates and get nothing back.

Keep us posted, as I'm interested as to why this maybe the case? Maybe they are trying to force more users into actually PURCHASING their devices (not intended towards you of course as I know you coughed up some green backs for your device).

They aren't morons, you just don't know how to use your phone. Did you even attempt to go to ->Settings ->About Phone ->System Updates and search for an update? Probably not. Don't complain about things when its your own ignorance that caused something. People can't hold your hand and spoon feed you technology.

Trust me, if you were in the same boat you would be equally infuriated and demand satisfaction. You wouldn't by chance be related to the user Exidor07 would you?

I'm sure he's attempted the proper procedures, and it's not "out there" to suspect that VZW/Motorola have no immediate plans to support demo units, or at least not until the update has been released to retail units.

Since it's a Verizon phone he needs to speak to someone at a Verizon store, which would be a Verizon representative, makes sense really.

Hi let me point something out. Your a junior member meaning you haven't been around long. He has. He's also given us preview on this device and advice on various launchers and other things. If you can't curb yor attitude please take it somewhere else before I report you. I'm not in the mood this morning to deal with five year tantrums on this board. He owns a pre-released device and it's a valid concern that he didn't receive an update and even the board members were joking about thus possibly happening. OP, I would take it up there if you don't get it soon, or at least call and find out what is going on. They might be able to swap Xs out for you.

Yep. I did a "Check for Updates" first thing after I woke up and I was updated and back running in less than 5 minutes.
