Help Handcent update - LED problem

Anybody else experiencing a notification LED problem with the latest update

Even after the message is read the LED stays on, the only way I can get it off is to restart phone

not had that problem tbh. I do need to go into the HandCent application though to get it to clear down, but no handset reboot is required.

I just heard back from the devs

They are aware of the problem and working on an update to fix it
In the meantime, alter the LED colour or LED frequency as a temp workaround

I just changed my LED flash frequency to fast from default and it seems to have solved it

Fine for me, it did stick at first but I set my wife's notification LED to pink and after she sent me a message it cleared the stuck default blue LED.

Glad to hear it's not just me. Mine wasn't going no matter what I did, had to reboot. In the end I just turned the setting off for now as I expect a fix will be arriving fairly soon.

I contacted them about it as well, and there's plenty of comments on the marketplace!

In the previous version did people lose the LED light from other apps/phone functions if they went into Handcent? I had to bring up the notification bar to get the light back, if say I had it on charge.

Not exactly the same issue, but I have never been to get any LED color other than green on my desire...

I am having the same problem, I have ended up uninstalling it.

I got a reply back from the devs for a temporary fix until they can sort it

I had it, just went into handcent settings and under notification settings changed the led flash frequency which fixed the problem

Strangely I've had the opposite!

Since the update its been running better. Before of it was on charge the led went out. now it goes back to showing on charge!

I got a text while charging and the light turned blue (correctly). When I read the text the light just turned off, even though it was still charging. I removed and replugged the USB Micro connector and the light came back on. Not really a big issue in my opinion.

my blue light stayed on all night last night drained a lot of battery, but in handcents defence (even though the developers have not replied yet) my desire still gets emails offpeak so i have constant blue and a green flash - nice way to drain the battery over night

yeah , i have the same problem ! , so what i decided to do is to turn it off, it would save up some power anyway , so yeah ,, i hope they can fix this problem soon

Just downloaded the update from the market and it appears to be fixed now.

I often have the charging light goes off whilst still charging issue (not much of an issue though for me either), totally unrelated to Handcent on my device, just seems to happen every now and again.
