I'm curious about this as well. I had an Aria before and really loved that there were widgets with the music app. Don't like having to enter the app to fool with the music. Like the stock app look, but don't like that there's no way to souffl

Hey guys, I didn't want to start a new thread so I'm going to ask a similar question regarding a music player. Ive tried a few different music apps mostly the ones mentioned already in the forum but none have really been clean, fast, and organized I keep on going back to the original player the only problem I really have with it is I get all the albums I don't want to see I just want the artist and the songs, is there a way to change that or a decent player that does that? Thanks
I like to use btunes for my music playback, it's almost exactly like the iphone player I'm used to. MixZing is also a really good audio/video player and has some extras like auto download album art. They both support lock screen song switching as well which I need when I'm driving. Hope that helps some.

Has anyone had problems loading this? I cannot get it from Android Market - just says file not found when searching or using QR code. I have a Wildfire.
Thanks

I tried double twist and it wouldn't load up some of my tunes (iTunes purchases) and didn't load even more of my album art. Seems a little half baked to me, but it is the best. iTunes solution I've found, as in the only.
I contacted Mixzing developer and they replied its not available for the Wildfire (?) but will be shortly. Is this correct as I understand that others have installed Mixzing?
I'm using doubletwist right now, but it seems to slow my phone down some when I use it. For example, I'll be playing a song, and the phone will sometimes become laggy, or the music will skip for a second, then continue. May be just one instance from last night, but I will try some more today
Speaking of music... download "Tunee Music". Free app that lets you download free music. Tunee works great on my phone for downloading a free song and I love tossing it back in my iPhone loving friends faces.

Do any of these alternate music players come with a dedicated 'off' or 'stop' button? I have pretty simple requirements for a player - I just randomize everything and go (good sound quality and art/info is nice, tho) - but I always have to kill the default player in running services when I'm done listening. Otherwise there seems to be a random chance it will start playing again all on its own...
I have had my Captivate for about a month now and coming from a iPhone I love it and was searching for a good music player so far I tried Cubed Music Player....did not like it. I actually had Btunes installed on my phone it was ok worked well.
Then I found MixZing and I love this, my music or mp3's actually sound better with this also volume I notice is louder which is great. I like that I can edit the MP3 tags which is great. I also like the feature to download album art. The equalizer feature is great too, just really liking this player. Its free or you can purchase it for 7 bucks. But its well worthed so much more you can do that I did not mention.
DoubleTwist player and Mixzing are the best ones that I have found. There isn't one music player that actually does everything I want though. I wish I could piece stuff I like from all of them together.
