I just found MortPlayer. I finally have a music player that allows me to select songs based on my file and folder structure. This was really important to me because I have a lot of mp3s that I've accumulated over time and many of them don't have any tag information or the tag info was written in a different language (Japanese). Most of my music is already organized in a file structure on my desktop pc and I'm not about to go through many hundreds of files to enter in their tag info. All I had to do was copy the folders over to my DroidX and was able to preserve the file structure. MortPlayer also provides me with a nice user interface to navigate through my music folder.

Throw my vote up for "Cubed/3"...great little player.

Wow, just downloaded Cubed and it's sweet! I was using MixZing before but I'm about to uninstall that.

Glad you guys like it, I've been using this little gem for months. I find the wall view easier to use than the cube view though.

I've taken the liberty of adding it as an option to the poll, hope the OP doesn't mind!

EDIT: this is the wall view I was talking about, it's pretty slick:

Hmm... the UI for 3 seems be a bit complicated. It's a lot of flashy stuff but it makes things a bit more difficult to navigate. Something that I find weird is that when I'm looking at the songs in an album, it keeps bringing up my notification bar when I scroll up and down the songs. It causes it to lag the scrolling. Is there a fix with that? I wish the text was sharper in the widget.

Also... is there any EQ with the 3 player? What I like about MixZing and the stock Moto music player is the EQ.

Other issues with 3: Blurry album images and controls at the very top, so it makes it harder to use the controls. I like having the controls right at my thumb so I don't have to stretch to the top or adjust my hand for the music player.

Is that really a music player though? Does it have all the bells and whistles?

Yeah Tunewiki has more bells and whistles than a lot of these players, like it gets the lyrics for you, and stuff. I had it on my Droid for a little.

I use Mixzing, love the EQ, lock screen widget, homescreen widgets, and how it automatically gets artwork...thats a biggie

Can anyone help me with my music dilemma? I have roughly 4,000 songs and movies and tv shows on my computer in iTunes very neatly organized. When I download I always go through and make sure the artist and song titles are correct and album art if it doesn't come on it. Does anyone know of a good one I can use to put them on my X and leave everything the way I have it (I've noticed just copying a song and moving it to somewhere on my pc or external drive it tends to go back to the original artist or title of the song). I also don't have a wireless router (it was cheaper to go wired give me a break) so I'd have to sync it old school. Any help is greatly appreciated.
