It seems that I made a big mistake by deciding to go naked with incredible's glass. The glass can most certainly be scratched. Mine isn't bad, but I've got a tiny little nick right in the middle of the screen. I've been gentle as possible with this thing and can't figure out how it could have happened. I actually bought an invisible shield to go on it, but never applied it because I didn't like the look and feel of them on my previous phone.

Any of you guys that decided to go "naked" might want to reconsider.

Covered with Zagg..but considering going naked

I had Zagg installed on mine as well. It feels a little smoother to the touch with less friction than glass. I like it very much and recommend it to all Incredible owners.

Also, if you have it done at the mall or a zagg retailer, they just charge you $5 if you ever want another screen installed on it. Pretty awesome.

+1
had it on my itouch and went to the mall and the guy applied a new one to the itouch for 5$ and then I had it put on my dinc. Love it, although sometimes I feel like there is a little bit of friction but usually a micro fiber towel stops it.

I've had an invisible shield on my phone from day one. I had to replace the original phone and put one immediately on the new one. I have the silicone case from Verizon too and I just let the screen protector dry for a day before I put the case on and my corners don't come up at all. looks perfect. No air bubbles either.

Had a Zagg on, but the VZW silicon case was causing the corners to lift, so I'm naked for now. When my Active case comes in I'll put a Zagg back on. Too paranoid!

same and with the active case the corners should stay good. im in the flooring industry(installer)and am around all kinds of crap all day(dust)and so forth. come home every day and wipe the screen hard with water(a little)and then buff it with a towel. good as new everytime. zagg gets a bum rap but i Greentree the others would not hold up to the pounding mine takes.

Same problem - I was going bareback but started seeing tiny little scratches. Nothing bad and ya REALLY have to look to see them but I immediately ordered a screen protector before those tiny scratches turned into a big problem. I went with the Steinheil Crystal Clear and love it. I think my finger actually slides across the screen smoother than it did naked. I also don't notice any screen distortion. Fingerprints are just as much of an issue, though. I keep my microfiber cloth always handy! I also have the Verizon Gradient Case and am very happy with it.

Naked, like most things in life, feels better to the touch.

This is a touchscreen, I will take my chances. If it gets bad enough, I'll shell out 50 bucks and get another from Asurion.

Its actually $89 for the Dinc and most smartphones, but same thing applies, I also agree if it gets bad enough just replace it lol

I do however use BoxWave Crystal Clear, (dont even know it there) and a Seidio Innocase II.

Works a treat :)
