missing apps

Does anyone know about this missing apps problem ( sorry if it known about im a newbiwe to android) im trying to get the sonisphere app. its works fine on my g/f samsung but doesnty appear in the market for me at all. i hav e spoken to the developers and its compatible with android 1.5 -2.2 so it should work on the x10. anybody any ideas ?

Is it a paid app? Not all countries have access to paid apps.

it is a paid app but my girlfriend who is on the same uk network can access it. i can also get other paid apps just not this one, even the developers are at a loss for why it wont show up

Oh that is definitely a cunundrum you have there since it's not the app (1.5 compatible) and you have access to paid apps. I'm thinking it might be the X10 itself or it's your carrier. I know some carriers do block access to certain types of apps.

Someone else with the X10 and living in the UK, if you can help a fellow X10 owner out, could you check to see if you can find sonisphere in the market as well

not the carrier, as i pointed out my girlfriend is on the same network (3uk) and can access the app fine

Apparently and I could be wrong here. But, since the new firmware update for the X10 alot of apps have disappeared. I cant get the calendar app I once had on the old firmware. Apparently, Marketplace or whoever runs it has to accept the new firmware from Sony Ericsson ( I think ). Saw this on another posting.

My Rogers X10A is encountering the same issues. I updated my firmware to R2BA020 and now there are quite a number of apps/games missing from Android Market.

We have an open question pending with Google. Although they have not replied in close to 20 days. I appeal to all that are experiencing the same issue to make some noise.

There are some other pages on the Android Market Help Forum that address this also. If for some reason the URL does not work then search for Android Market Help Forum and then search X10. The thread has a title of "Please approve latest firmware..."

I wanted to buy some Gameloft games and when they went missing on the Market, I went straight to the developer and bought the games. Sorry Google, no cut on that one. The games worked fine. Asphalt 5, Let's Golf and H.A.W.X (Awesome). Sorry to get off track a little there...

I have just searched for the app and 4 versions have come up, I'm in the UK on the 3 network with a rooted X10 using R23A023.

No help but it is here in the uk

UK X10 user here. Rooted firmware though. Four versions are showing up for me as well. I'm on an unbranded handset with a Vodafone sim. Likewise R23A023 firmware. What are you running on your phone?

I just regained access to all "missing" apps. I don't know what happened; no software update, nothing. I am still going through the market but as of now it looks good.

Totally wierd, the same thing happened to me.

I had a "pocket app erase" episode about 2 weeks ago and lost about 8 apps..I know stupid to not have lockscreen on, but still.

3 of them, for no reason I could see were unavailable on the market to redownload (including 1 paid app). The paid one I had the developer email the apk because we could not figure it out. The other two..I just gave up on. I had downloaded them before from the market.

Today, after doing nothing different, all 3 started showing up in the market again. Didnt update my software, didnt change locations...nothing different.

I Lost all My Apps in the Update . at the moment im downloading new apps but they dont seem to progress to much infact the status just say (starting downloading) . there is no moving arrows to signal that the phone is recieving any data.


im completely lost !
