The Android love just really hit me.

I've been using my Samsung Captivate since launch and have been having a good time with it (I'm a former iPhone user and lover though). I've had minimal complaints but a few start to add up (poor multimedia syncing, non-market apps, stop watch errors, some lag, etc.). Today's gripes were was the finicky reception, and some people are adding that they don't receive messages correctly. Then I thought to myself "Well if I'm going to have a faulty phone, I might as well have an iPhone."

Then it hit me: I don't want an iPhone. I like what Android has going I like the customization, the speed, and especially the people on these forums and the developers.

I really hope these things can be fixed, I like this phone and OS too much.

The reception issues would be At$T's shotty network. Read link in my sig for media sync.

read your cdma vs GSM article. Very impressive. Informative, not too dry, with a great history of how the cell phone technology got to where it is today. I will admit my head hurts after reading it, but I feel like I learned a lot. Great job.
I hope you will keep it current as technology moves forward. (Btw, I'm not gonna argue w/ you anymore within threads. Like a sanitation worker arguing with a nuerosurgeon on how to do brain surgery.)

I am going to do a write up on LTE vs WiMax.
