How do I set up e-mail push service for gmail to Dx? I have the account added and can manually go to the account and tell it to sync and it works. It never updates by itself. I went to settings> data manager> data delivery and "email and corporate sync is a darker color and I can not click it. Help! Thank you android community!

Try going to the Home Screen, then Menu->Settings->Accounts&Sync and make sure that Background data and Auto-Sync are checked, then press "google" and make sure that Sync Gmail is checked. These are all defaults and your phone should have come set like this, but it's worth checking.

Then, send yourself a gMail and it should show up on your phone within a minute or so.

I don't have those options. My phone has Settings>Accounts and then it shows my work and gmail accounts. There's no sync setting.

I also have Settings>Data Manager>Data Delivery and on that page I can enable Background Data but not gmail syncing.

Is anyone else having this issue?

After Settings>Accounts, click on your GMail account. Then select the checkboxes to sync your mail/contacts/calendar, as desired.
