Random Contacts

I have just noticed I am having random contacts of people I have never heard of before showing up in my gmail contacts and on my evo.

Anyone else?

and all of the addresses are like first name@last name.com

Gmail will sometimes automatically add email addresses that send you emails to your contact list. I don't know how it picks and choses, but it's done it to me and I've ended up with tons of random adressess in the gmail contact list.

A way to prevent them from showing on your phone: Contacts -> Veiw -> Check "Only contacts with phone numbers" and uncheck "Show auto Gmail Contacts."

You can also make a special contact group online through gmail and have only that group synced to your phone.

also if you have a facebook account and link a friend from there, if the friend has a number attached to their fb account it will load on your phone.
