So I found a case to replace my Body Glove case but in the process managed to peel up/ruin my Zagg on the front screen. The salesmen at the kiosk told me someone (he didn't know who made a product similar to the Zagg Invisashield that would not peel up and would cover the front and back. He almost made it sound indestructible (within reason) and said Best Buy could help me figure it out. The broad at BB had no clue what I was referring to. I am positive one of you can help me out:)

Thanks
Tex

I never had a single problem with the Zagg shield until the EVO. I don't know what they changed but there shield no longer sticks well. I remember on my Storm2 I struggled to remove the Zagg from that handset but on the Evo its hardly stuck on and you can peel it off way to easy. Im also looking for a shield thats going to really stick, Im tired of spending good money on this crap and having them peel up on the corners.

Hey noob question, but what is the difference between normal full body and the matte full body? o_O (for the phantom skinz I believe)

the normal is usually called ultra clear or some sort. the matte is also called anti glare yada yada. usually there are only two different types 1 is super clear so you getthe most out of your screen but does glare in the light. the other (matte) is more of a dull finish to reduce glare but you do loose a hint of vibrancy in your screen. to me i love the feel of my matte finish boxwave. its OP OMG ROFLCOPTER OWNED IMO :)

its just based on what you want.....

clearest ever but will suck in light
or a little less BAM but manageable in light.

probably plastic vs glass screens. just a guess i have no idea what the storm screen was made of.

with that said i have had the least problems with zagg on phones with the evo.

I bought the phantom skinz matte full body kit. I like the look and feel of the matte finish on the body, but the matte screen protector was just too blurry to be of any use. Luckily, the phantom skinz kit came with the matte body kit, matte screen protector, and clear screen protectors, so I changed over to the clear screen protector after a couple days.

The only problem I've had with the cling films like phantom skinz and zagg is that the side corner pieces never stick very well for me. My TP with zagg started coming off on the corners, and now the corners on my EVO with phantom skinz are starting to not look so good either. I think I might just cut my spare body kit top and bottom pieces so they just don't cover the corners and reapply. Everything that covers a flat, non-curving surface seems to be sticking fine (no problems with the screen protector).

On both of my family Evos I bought and installed the Ghost Armor full body kit. I did a better job on hers than mine. On mine I had a corner lift and I e-mailed Ghost Armor about getting a replacement. They never responded.

I ended up cuting off the corner that lifted so as not to scratch my screen with the dirty part of the protector.

I then called corporate HQ after seeing their warranty was going to charge me some undisclosed amount for shipping on the web site. I noticed they were in Metro Phoenix and I offered to just come to them. They re-directed me to a mall kiosk.

I went to the Mall Kiosk and he said no problem, that'll be $20. After much arguing and the kiosk guy calling his manager I left the kiosk with a new screen protector in hand.

I'm not real impressed with GA's customer service. I bought the full body kit for $15 and they wanted to charge me $20 to 'warranty swap' the screen only when I told him repeatedly I didn't need him to install it, I just wanted a replacement protector. I wonder how bad they soak people for a full body kit installed at the kiosk. It must be $50+

I got the Zagg Full Body Shield today. Disappointed in the shield. It is not Full Body. To me, full body means protection of the entire phone. I had Zagg's Full Body Invisible Shield for Nexus One and that was full body because it covered majority of the phone (including the sides as well as the top and bottom portions. This is just 2 piece of shield that covers the front and back. It fails to protect the four corners of the phone (the actual places that gets majority of the scratches/dings). There is no coverage for the two sides and the top and bottom.

Definitely not worth $25. If anyone is looking to buy this product, I wouldn't recommend it.

I JUST bought the full body kit last night from Best Buy myself and was sorely disappointed in the fasle 'full body protection' claim coming out that kit. At first I was contemplating on returning it back to BB but impatient as I am, I went ahead and installed the kit.

Its a cakewalk compared to the Hero's full body kit, I'll tell you that. Screen went on almost as smooth as any reg. front lcd protectors. Only dimples I got were on the bottom of the screen where the buttons are.

Once done I kept staring at my Evo wondering "why on earth didnt Zagg include the sides?" THen I recall reading the revied on the Phantomz and remembered seeing the layout. Pretty much exactly the same except the phantomz had the sides covered. I looked at the remaining pieces left from the Zagg install and bam I went to exacto knifin.

Had to do it myself but I now have 'Full Body Protection'! lmao!
