First Time Android user: HTC desire Disconnect WIFI?

Hi, as soon as i connect my Desire to wifi, it completely disconnect our wifi at home, so on my comp, my laptop, bro's laptop and every other wifi device at home.

Sounds like a setting issue on your router!

Only sure way to stop that happening is in the router settings, you designate an ip address for each devices mac address.
Of course it also depends on if your router has this option in the settings.

Ensure your router has DHCP enabled.

I don't know how to do that? im calling my provider to see what they will say.
Ill ask them about the DHCP. and more questions on the router
